Privacy statement
This statement describes what personal data Wulf Security processes through this website, for what purpose and for how long. You can send questions about this to info@wulfsecurity.net.
Version: October 2026.
Who is responsible
Wulf Security, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), Produktiestraat 91, 3133 ES Vlaardingen, Chamber of Commerce (KVK) 81823568, branch number 000048091219, is responsible for the processing of personal data through this website. Referred to below as Wulf. You can reach Wulf at info@wulfsecurity.net or 085 085 47 40.
What data Wulf processes
Wulf only processes data that you enter or send yourself, and the technical data of a visit to the website.
- Quote request: name, company name, email address, phone number, type of security, town or city of the location, date or period and your message.
- Job application: the position you are applying for, name, email address, phone number, CV and cover letter.
- Registration for an Academy course: name, date of birth, email address, phone number, chosen course, whether you are 18 or older and whether you have a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring omtrent het gedrag, VOG). For the VOG, Wulf only asks yes or no. You do not need to provide the document itself or its number. Your date of birth is needed to establish that you are 18 or older, because that is a requirement for the courses.
- Complaint: name, email address, phone number, address, date of the incident and your explanation.
- Email, phone or WhatsApp: any data you share yourself when you get in touch.
- Visit to the website: technical data such as your IP address and the time of the visit, recorded by the hosting provider.
What the data is used for
- To draw up a quote and contact you about your request.
- To assess your application and contact you.
- To process your registration for a course.
- To handle your complaint under the complaints procedure.
- To answer your question.
- To keep the website running and secure.
Legal basis
- Quote request, job application and course registration: the data is needed to prepare or perform an agreement at your request. If you request a quote on behalf of a company, Wulf processes your data on the basis of its legitimate interest in answering that request.
- Complaint: Wulf is required by law to handle complaints and to send a copy of every complaint to the Dutch Minister of Justice and Security (Article 18 of the Dutch Private Security Organisations and Detective Agencies Regulation, Regeling particuliere beveiligingsorganisaties en recherchebureaus).
- Question by email, phone or WhatsApp: Wulf’s legitimate interest in answering your question. If the question concerns an assignment, an application or a course, the basis under point 1 applies.
- Technical data of a visit: Wulf’s legitimate interest in keeping the website running and secure.
- Keeping application data for longer than 4 weeks after the procedure: only with your consent. How to withdraw it is explained under “Your rights”.
The tick box on each form is not consent. By ticking it, you confirm that you have read this statement.
How long
- Wulf keeps a quote request that does not lead to an assignment for 1 year after the request. If it does lead to an assignment, Wulf keeps the data for as long as the assignment runs.
- Wulf keeps application data for 4 weeks after the end of the application procedure. With your consent, this can be extended to a maximum of 1 year.
- Wulf keeps the data from a course registration until 2 years after the course.
- Wulf keeps the data from a complaint until 2 years after the complaint has been dealt with.
- Wulf keeps an email or WhatsApp message until 1 year after the last contact.
- Wulf keeps business records, such as quotes, assignments and invoices, for 7 years. This is required by Article 52 of the Dutch General Tax Act (Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen).
- The hosting provider keeps technical data of a visit for as long as it is needed to keep the website running and secure.
These periods apply to the submissions in the Netlify dashboard and to the info@wulfsecurity.net mailbox. When a period ends, Wulf deletes the data.
Who Wulf shares data with
Wulf does not sell personal data. Data only goes to these parties:
- Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, United States) hosts the website and processes the forms. A submission, including an attached CV or cover letter, stays in the Netlify dashboard until Wulf deletes it.
- Automattic Inc. (United States) checks every submission for spam with the Akismet spam filter. Netlify engages Akismet and, as processor, makes the agreements with it.
- Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Dublin, Ireland) provides the email for info@wulfsecurity.net through Google Workspace (Gmail). The emails you send and the email notification of every form submission arrive there. Google Cloud EMEA Limited engages Google LLC (United States) for this.
- WhatsApp Ireland Limited processes the messages you send through WhatsApp. WhatsApp’s own terms also apply to those messages.
- Dienst Justis of the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security receives a copy of every complaint, because the law requires this.
- The police supervise compliance with the Dutch Private Security Organisations and Detective Agencies Act (Wet particuliere beveiligingsorganisaties en recherchebureaus, Wpbr). If the police ask for data during an inspection, Wulf provides it to the extent the law requires.
Netlify, Automattic and Google process data in the United States. Netlify, Inc. and Google LLC participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision in 2023. In addition, the data processing agreements of Netlify and of Google Workspace (the Cloud Data Processing Addendum) contain the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can request a copy of these safeguards at info@wulfsecurity.net.
Netlify and Google process the data as processors, under a data processing agreement that includes arrangements on the security of your data. Beyond that, Wulf only shares data when the law requires it.
Cookie statement
This website sets no cookies and does not store anything in your browser with similar techniques either. There are no third-party analytics and no external scripts or fonts. That is why the site does not ask for cookie consent and there is no cookie banner (Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, Telecommunicatiewet).
Should that change, this statement is updated first and, where the law requires it, consent is asked beforehand.
The hosting provider keeps technical log files, such as IP addresses, to keep the website running and secure. The videos on the site are served from Wulf’s own website, not from YouTube or another platform.
The links to WhatsApp and to the route in Google Maps are ordinary links. Only when you click one do you open a service of another company, and that company’s rules apply there.
Security
The website is loaded over a secure connection (https). Form submissions are stored in the Netlify dashboard and in the info@wulfsecurity.net mailbox. Only the people who handle them can see them.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to have the processing restricted, to object to the processing and to have your data transferred. To do so, send an email to info@wulfsecurity.net. Wulf responds within 1 month; for a complex request this can take 2 months longer, and you will be told so within the first month.
If you have given consent, for example to keep your application for longer, you can withdraw it at any time by email to info@wulfsecurity.net. This has no effect on what was processed before then.
You may leave fields marked “optional” empty. The other fields are needed to handle your request. If a required field is left empty, Wulf cannot deal with the request. You are under no legal obligation to provide data.
Wulf takes no decisions about you that are made by a computer alone and does not create profiles.
If you disagree with how Wulf handles your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
Wulf may amend this statement. The version that applies now is stated above the first heading. If Wulf wants to use data it already holds about you for a new purpose, you will be told beforehand.
