Terms and conditions

These terms apply to all quotes and agreements of Wulf Security for security services. Departures from these terms apply only if they have been agreed in writing.

Version: October 2026.

1. Definitions

  1. Wulf: Wulf Security, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), Produktiestraat 91, 3133 ES Vlaardingen, Chamber of Commerce (KVK) 81823568, branch number 000048091219.
  2. Client: the party that gives Wulf an assignment.
  3. Consumer: a client who is a natural person and is not acting for the purposes of a profession or business.
  4. Agreement: the arrangement between Wulf and the client for security services, including the quote on which it is based.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to every quote and every agreement of Wulf. The client’s own terms only apply if Wulf has accepted them in writing.

Wulf sends these terms with every quote. They are also on this website, where you can save and print them. On request, Wulf sends them free of charge by email or by post.

If the client is a consumer, the statutory rules that protect the consumer take precedence. A provision in these terms that conflicts with those rules does not apply to the consumer.

3. Quote and agreement

A quote from Wulf is non-binding and valid for the period stated in it. The agreement is concluded as soon as the client confirms the quote in writing or by email, or as soon as Wulf starts the work at the client’s request.

If a consumer concludes the agreement at a distance, for example by confirming a quote by email, the consumer may cancel (withdraw from) the agreement within 14 days without giving a reason. This can be done by email to info@wulfsecurity.net. This follows from Articles 6:230o to 6:230s of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek, BW).

If the consumer wants Wulf to start within those 14 days, Wulf asks the consumer to confirm this expressly. If the consumer withdraws after that, the consumer pays a proportionate amount for what has already been performed. Once the service has been fully performed with the consumer’s express consent, and the consumer has acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal at that point, the agreement can no longer be withdrawn from.

4. Performance

Wulf deploys security officers who hold the diploma and the authorisation required for security work. Wulf decides which security officers are deployed and may replace them, as long as the agreed service does not suffer as a result. The security officers follow the client’s house rules and instructions, provided these are consistent with the law and the terms of the agreement.

5. Obligations of the client

The client provides a safe working environment and gives all information relevant to the assignment in advance, such as house rules, known risks and points of contact. The client also makes sure the security officers have access to the location and to the facilities needed for the work.

6. Rates and payment

The rates are stated in the quote. For a business they exclude VAT, unless the quote states otherwise. For a consumer they include VAT.

Wulf invoices per period or per assignment, as set out in the quote. The client pays within the payment term on the invoice. In the event of late payment, Wulf may suspend its services.

If a business pays late, Wulf may charge statutory commercial interest (Article 6:119a BW) and collection costs under Article 6:96 BW.

If a consumer pays late, Wulf first sends a reminder giving 14 days to pay. That reminder states which costs will follow if payment is not made. If the consumer still does not pay, Wulf may charge statutory interest (Article 6:119 BW) and collection costs, up to the amount allowed by the Dutch Decree on compensation for extrajudicial collection costs (Besluit vergoeding voor buitengerechtelijke incassokosten).

7. Changes and cancellation

Changes to the assignment, such as different hours or a different number of security officers, are agreed in writing or by email. If the client cancels a planned deployment, the cancellation arrangements in the quote apply. If the quote contains none, Wulf may charge the costs that have already been incurred or that can no longer be avoided.

A consumer can always terminate the agreement. The consumer then only pays for the work already done and for the costs already incurred or that can no longer be avoided, even if the quote states higher cancellation costs (Articles 7:408 and 7:411 BW).

8. Liability

Wulf is only liable for direct damage resulting from an attributable failure on the part of Wulf. Liability is limited to the amount paid out by Wulf’s insurance in that case. If the insurance does not pay out, liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment concerned. Wulf is not liable for indirect damage, such as consequential loss, lost profit and lost savings.

The limitations in this article do not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Wulf or its management.

9. Force majeure

If Wulf cannot meet an obligation because of circumstances beyond its control, such as illness of security officers who cannot be replaced in time, extreme weather or government measures, Wulf is not liable for this. Wulf informs the client as soon as possible and discusses an alternative arrangement. The client does not pay for any deployment that does not take place because of force majeure, and may terminate the agreement for that part.

10. Confidentiality

Wulf and its security officers keep confidential any information about the client, the location and visitors that comes to their attention during the work, including after the assignment has ended. The client does the same with information about Wulf’s working methods.

11. Staff

During the agreement and for 12 months after it ends, the client will not employ Wulf’s security officers or hire them directly, unless Wulf agrees to this in writing.

12. Complaints

The client reports a complaint about the services or about the conduct of a security officer as soon as possible, and no later than 6 weeks after the event. Complaints are handled under the complaints procedure on this website.

For a consumer, this period is not a deadline after which rights are lost. A consumer who reports later does not lose any statutory rights as a result, such as the right to compensation.

13. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies to every agreement with Wulf. A consumer who lives in another country keeps the protection that the mandatory law of that country provides.

If the client is a business, disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Rotterdam, unless the law designates another court. If the client is a consumer, the court that has jurisdiction under the law decides.
